Set it Right Again

Hello my friends,
There’s a great trouble in the land. We’re gonna set it right again.

I don’t doubt it for a minute.
Here’s a little call and response I can’t wait to record with a bunch of people!

While you’re here, give thanks with me for all the ancestors in every faith and those of no faith. This week is Holy Week and Passover, and Ramadan begins on April 23rd. These festivals remind me that every week is holy and every day is holy, and everyone is holy, beloved, and worthy of love and care.

I’m especially grateful this week for the life of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (who was murdered on this day in 1968), for all of his good work making the big, societal connections, and for founding the Poor People’s Campaign; also for today’s leaders of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival: Bp. William Barber and The Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, co-chairs; Yara and Charon, and all the  people willing to share their art and stories. Organize, organize, organize!  We rise together.

A deep bow for each of you, friends, who by your constant diligence and faithfulness help me to learn how to set it right again by showing up and practicing love each and every day. You inspire me. May my work spur you to action and hope, and may we be able to come together soon and sing.

Sending you light and love, Ana
