Eviction=death, especially in a pandemic. You can’t stay home if you haven’t got a home. Cancel the rent. The NYS Tenant Safe Harbor act is not an eviction moratorium. Don’t be fooled for a minute.
Here’s a clip from the Oct. 1st Statewide Day of Action to demand the NYS  Eviction Moratorium be extended and call for an eviction free NY throughout the pandemic. NYers have created an Eviction Defense Coalition. You can support the following organizations: Citizen Action, NYS Capital District Poor People’s Campaign, VOCAL NY, United Tenants of Albany, Housing Committee of the Troy Democratic Socialists of America.
