This year, the focus for both Family Day and Trinity Institute is on
– Compassion
– Social Justice
– Stewardship of the earth
– Inclusiveness
Families are invited to explore their values and how to put them into action with workshops, storytelling, a puppet show, music, and service activities.
Activity Stations include:
- Packing a Brown Bag Lunch for those in need
- Painting a Kindness Rock to inspire others
- Assembling school supplies for kids in a refugee camp
- Decorating valentines for a Random Act of Kindness
- Making a book bag for families at Kianga House, a shelter for mothers and children
- Creating a Senior Surprise Box for elders in our community
