Singing Spirit Interfaith Song Swap

 Thanksgiving Square Image

Do you love to sing with people and learn new songs? Come, sing with us for 90 minutes of pure joy Sunday, September 20th from 2:00-3:30 pm, EDT.  We’ll sing short songs,  chants of faith, doubt, songs to deepen our connection to spirit, ground us to mother earth, walk with one another along the way, as well as movement songs for the street. We’ll lead one another in beauty and fun as we learn to deepen our listening skills and hone our leadership skills. We’ll mostly sing on mute (an invitation to deep practice and possibility), but there are a number of prayers/chants that require us to sing together unmuted!

Ana is a composer, arranger, author, and a song leader with the NYS Poor People’s Campaign and Music That Makes Community. She’s a collector of short songs and chant tunes for all ages, sorts, and conditions. She’s also the author of The Sacred Art of Chant: Preparing to Practice.
