Daring to hope: Staying close to the heart in the current moment

How can we practice reaching out in small ways to broaden our engagement and deepen our sense of belonging in our communities? During this day of transformation and deep fun, we’ll listen across lines of difference, find/build our collective voice, practice leaving fear and judgement behind, and develop a community of practice through the shared creation of sound and silence.

Using simple chants and songs, we’ll reclaim the joy of group learning by rote, utilize repetition, and engage our oft ignored ability to harmonize on the spot (bring a short song to share if you’ve got one!).

As we become confident that the spiritual work we do to become our sweetest selves can be integrated into the larger community, we’ll uncover better strategies for managing our internal weather and creating more
open spaces so absolutely everybody belongs.

Let’s change ourselves to change the world!
