The Theology and Practice of Failure

October 26: The Theology and Practice of Failure

Church communities are often afraid to make space to acknowledge failure and wonder about how and where God is at work in the midst of it. Through sharing their stories and reflecting theologically, our panelists will open up a space for consideration of the holy gift of failure.

Panelists:

  • Ana Hernandez (Composer, author, and workshop leader)
  • The Rev. Dr. Joan Martin (Professor of Christian social ethics at EDS)
  • The Rev. Dr. Cameron Partridge (Episcopal chaplain at Boston University and adjunct faculty at EDS and Harvard Divinity School)
