Music That Makes Community At Calvary Episcopal Church

Join a dynamic gathering of musicians, clergy and lay people in Cincinnati, Ohio to develop and strengthen your congregational song leading skills. Presenters Ana Hernández, Charles Murphy, Emily Scott, and Paul Vasile will lead worship, workshops, and conversation to help you add the valuable tool of paperless song leading to your community’s singing practice. Learn practical skills and diverse repertoire, and explore how paperless music can enrich and expand your congregation’s repertoire of sung prayer and praise.

The three-day workshop begins at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 and ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 30. Registration begins at 12 noon.

Regarded as one of the most beautiful churches in Cincinnati, Calvary Episcopal Church-Clifton is just north of downtown and close to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, the University of Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Art Museum, as well as the city’s thriving food and music scene. The church is convenient to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and is within driving distance of Columbus, OH, Louisville, KY, Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL.

This event is generously co-sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio and we are pleased to be able to offer scholarship to seminarians, students, and congregations with limited financial resources.
Contact Paul Vasile to inquire if you or your congregation qualify for assistance.

A block of reduced-rate rooms have been reserved for participants at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center at the University of Cincinnati (151 Goodman Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45219), a five-minute drive from the church.
