Berea College, Pt. II: Carter G. Woodson Center for Interracial Education

Have I mentioned that Berea College has been integrated since the 1860s? Yes, you read that right; the 1860s.

Here’s Berea’s great Commitment:

“To assert the kinship of all people and provide interracial education with a particular emphasis on understanding and equality among blacks and whites.”

On Wednesday, I’ll give a lunch presentation for faculty and staff at the Carter G. Woodson Center for Interracial Education. There will be singing, talking, listening, and noticing. Can’t wait.
